Bishop speaking three languages…

Once upon a time… on 4th August 1871 in Ungvar, in a satirical Sova (An owl) magazine, an illustration of a political-languge situation was presented concerning the Rusyn Church. So far, the situation has changed only by the fact that in church a bishop speaks to Lemkos only in one language. And it will never be Rusyn.

Thus, our editiorial board dedicates this picture to all Rusyns, Rusnaks, Lemkos, no matter of their creed and beliefs, in order to illustrate the progress and merits within the church eparchy for the development of the language of the church members.
