According to the official website of the Slovak National museum – the Museum of Rusyn culture in Presov opened an exhibition today entitled Easter at Rusyns.
The exhibition with Easter theme is annually presented in the Rusyn museum. It is dedicated to traditions and customs of Easter – Pascha. The museum wants to present the audience with preparations of the Easter basket, the dishes, traditional recipes, but also religious customs are shown related with the biggest Christian feast. The exhibition will contain also the characteristic Easter eggs, there are old and modern techniques of decorating eggs shown.
The exhibition will be available in the museum until 15 May 2017.
The museum also informs about the change of working hours during Easter time. The last working day will be the Holy Thursday, 13 April and the exposition will be available from 9:30-3PM. Then the museum will be opened again on Tuesday, 18 April.
