Demons (The Big Stage, 7PM, 2nd prerelease)
Demons are the example of the young’s defiance – a secret society of anarchists who, in a small provincial royal town, will be calling for a social revolt and as a result, will cause bloody battles. “The audience will witness the story of the society and the scenic analysis of still relevant mechanisms of struggle for the change of regime which is caused by frustration of the whole generation. The Slovak Republic, as well as the whole Europe, has been in a particular situation these days. Different crisis, political instability, social divisions, helplessness and fear do not do good for those who make simple, but oaften destructive decisions on a daily basis. In the Demons romance, Dostoyevsky, vaticinated the dreadfullness of Russian revolts and the eras of Stalinism. We hope that his visions will not concern us and our era.

Hospital (The Big Stage, 7 PM)
A man is not even aware of the malaise that they live in. The crazy house reminds about it. A man has only two possibilities! Conform to it like the society, or the other way around. There are several ways: a change of identity, emigration and an unreal one: journey into one’s interior. The possibility to change one’s life is crucial, but it is not nice and easy. There is also the possibility to die because of old age, naturally, but who would like to wait for so long… A revolution? Maybe, but does a revolution make sense in the crazy house?

Moscow – Petushki (The Small Stage, 7 PM)
The play by Venedikt Yerofeyev is often considered to be a romance-poem and a crucial work of the Russian postmodernism. The story is very easy: Venichka wakes up early in the morning after a drinking night in Moscow, drunk to the extremes. But he decides to find his love in Petushki, a town located far away. He waits until the first shops are open, buys the most important stuff to survive (or rather, not to survive) the journey… And he goes to the train station. He gets on the train and… will he reach the end of his journey or not? We are not going to reveal that… A bible of alcoholics, this is how the poem is frequently named. And because alcoholics are friends with the whole world, as they are united by the strongest relation, the authors afforded for change of the play’s subtitle to “Alcoholic’s bible.”
