In Warsaw, in the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland, after 9 AM the last in this year, LVIII meeting of the Joint Commission of Government and National and Ethnic Minorities started, we informed about it yesterday on our website.
Among the main points of the meeting planned for today, there are topics concerning division of donations for protection, suport and development of cultural identity of minorities and regional language for 2017, a meeting with representatives of the Internal Security Agency, organization of works by the Joint Commission in 2017, discussion of laws on educational reform and the Institute of National Memory, as well as other topics.
Today’s meeting is led by the co-managers of the Commission – Sebastian Chwalek, Vice-minister of Interior and Administration and from the side of minorities – Rafał Bartek, a representative of the German minority. Also, experts are present that take part in meetings of the grant commission and officials of the Department of Religious Institutions and National and Ethnic Minorities and other entities.
As we got to know from the backstairs talks, in comparison to the previous years – representatives of the minorities who already met yesterday, have not got the information on division of the donations for 2017 yet.
