The World Rusyn Congress met in Croatia over the weekend. According to Ruthenpress, the Congress decided that a, not defined precisely, delegation will pay a visit to the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic, in order to establish a faculty of Rusyn philology in Ethnology and Folkloristics Department, at the Institute of Philosophy at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. Everything would be good, if it had not been knocking at an open door and ignoring the closed one.
