Where does Lemkovyna begin, where does it end and where is the map that shows it properly? Many times I have found that there is no such correct map… That is why we are visiting people from the Boyko-Lemko borderline and asking them who they consider themselves to be and what they could say about their village.

We are talking about Smerek village where old customs have been practiced until today. Also, contemporary inhabitants of Nadijev village (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast) help to solve the issue.
